The Special Olympics is very near and dear to James as he has participated since he was 8 years old. The James Droz Foundation is being formed to achieve two goals. The first is to support community Special Olympic teams for individuals who do not have teams available to them. Our foundation will provide start-up costs for teams for items such as uniforms, equipment, and training. 

The second goal is to provide a mechanism for individuals who have special needs to live their best life by providing opportunities to activities they wouldn't have access to otherwise.
